Our Journey So Far
2006
We started Dhwani Foundation in Bangalore, with the intention and purpose of strengthening Grassroots NGOs.
2006
Goonjan - a cloud-based MIS platform was designed and developed.
2017
Niranthara was born, with a singular focus on capacity building for Grassroots NGOs. Launched in Karnataka with a 1st cohort of 23 NGOs.
2017
Updeshak, a Governance Enhancement Program begins by bringing corporate professionals onto NGO boards.
2019
Graduation ceremony of 1st cohort of Niranthara.
2020
DrishtE eLearning platform for OCM launched in Kannada and English.
2021
Goonjan grows to the next level with over 100 NGOs usage across 13 States with a cumulative beneficiary database of 3 lakhs.
2022
Niranthara Sahayak, a shared service for NGOs was introduced in Karnataka; Shikshak program in Assam expands our geographical reach to Northeast through a train-a-trainer model in collaboration with RCRC to support 14 NGOs.
2023
Sahayog - a new initiative for staff revolving funds for grassroots employees begins in in Tamil Nadu in partnership with Caring Friends.
2023
SAT, a Self-Assessment tool in OCM, introduced and implemented.
2024
Grants+ - Donor Engagement initiative begins - Webinar and Round Table Discussions begins in collaboration with CSRs in Bengaluru.
2025
8 parallel cohorts; Federations work through VOICE program deepens.

Niranthara Lite redesigned as Saksham.
